The Role

We're expanding our network of PAT Testing Engineers to carry out high-quality Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for residential and commercial properties. You'll inspect and test electrical appliances, record results digitally, and upload certification through the Certie platform.

Responsibilities

● Conduct PAT testing in line with the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

● Inspect, test, and label all portable appliances in accordance with compliance standards.

● Complete digital test records and upload reports via the Certie platform.

● Advise clients on unsafe equipment and remedial actions required.

● Maintain professional communication, punctuality, and presentation at all times.

Requirements

● City & Guilds or equivalent) qualification in PAT Testing.

● Proven experience testing appliances in residential and/or commercial environments.

● Good understanding of electrical safety and testing procedures.

● Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

● Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

● Own PAT testing equipment and transport.
