Supply Chain Warehouse Apprentice

As a Warehouse Apprentice, you'll be on the frontline when it comes to serving our customers and delivering the very best customer service and experience. The warehouse can get quite busy so there will be a variety of different people you'll be interacting with. Family run builders Merchant with 179 years of experience. We support both, our local and national customers, with a huge range of building materials. We currently have over 300 people within the business and we are opening a new branch this year. As part of our culture, we pride ourselves on recruiting people, not just 'employees'. Every member of our teams have the autonomy to make a difference. Duties & Responsibilities:Serving customers in the yard, both manually and with a forklift (dependent on holding a counter balance license)Loading/unloading lorriesReceiving and storing products from suppliers and dealing with associated paperworkHousekeeping in the yard/warehouseSupporting online sales, both in preparing goods to be sent to customer and any goods returned Requirements Desired skills Good communicationAbility to work in a teamPersonal qualities FriendlyReliableWilling to learnAbe to work autonomously Desired qualifications None Future prospects Further learning and development is always available
