Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely handling of materials and products. Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where qualified.
• Manage inventory through accurate recording and updating within the warehouse management system.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Operate mechanical equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods around the warehouse.
• Assist in organising stock storage areas to optimise space utilisation.
• Participate in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring correct documentation is maintained.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on mechanical handling equipment.
• Support with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organising work areas.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Valid forklift licence an advantage desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
• Strong materials handling skills with knowledge of safe lifting techniques.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction or related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. This role requires a proactive individual committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency within our warehouse operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
