As a Biomedical Scientist at our hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience ideally within Blood Sciences, Haemotology & Chemistry. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
- Deliver high-quality pathology services
- Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
- Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control
- Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
- Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
- Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

Our successful, purpose-built hospital deals with complex surgery supported by a Level 3 critical care unit covering a vast range of specialities such as: brain surgery, cardiac surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics and spinal surgery. In addition we offer a comprehensive diagnostic service including cardiology tests and interventions, diagnostic imaging – MR, CT, Mammography, Plain film and Ultrasound, fully equipped Physiotherapy department with gymnasium facilities.
