Commis Chef

What you'll be doing…

As a Breakfast/Commis Chef you will work alongside the Chef de Partie and senior team.

• Mise en place (chopping vegetable/Filling croissant).
• Cooking eggs to order ( poached/fried/scrambled/omelette).
• Maintaining cleanliness
• Providing excellent customer service, Interact with guests in a polite and efficient manner,
• Monitor food supplies, assist with ordering ingredients, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Work effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth and timely breakfast service.
• Ensure thorough and up to date knowledge and understanding of menu and special offers in order to provide relevant information to customers and clients
• Be responsible for smooth operation of relevant equipment reporting any maintenance issues in line with procedures
• Ensure full area of responsibility is clean, neatly presented and stocked at all times
• Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
