Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, mentor, and support the Product Technologist team, providing day-to-day direction and leadership.
  • Take ownership of a brand or category (e.g. Tria, ZIIP, Hair Health), driving its roadmap and ensuring category excellence.
  • Provide guidance and input on IP, trademark, and patent decisions to strengthen and protect our innovation pipeline.
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting career progression and building functional expertise within the Product team.
  • Establish ways of working and best practices across the team to improve efficiency, collaboration, and consistency.
  • Act as the central communicator, ensuring senior management is updated on project progress, timelines, challenges, and risks.
  • Drive collaboration across marketing, regulatory, project management, and external partners to ensure product launches meet the highest standards.
  • Guide clinical and efficacy validation with external partners to ensure robust, science backed product claims.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR at least 5 years of proven experience in New Product Development within a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) and team management, ideally within beauty, skincare, or consumer technology.
  • Strong understanding of IP, trademark, and patent processes in a product context.
  • Confident leading cross-functional projects from concept through to launch.
