Located right on the river edge in the centre of Royal Windsor, Sir Christopher Wren Hotel & Spa is a popular four star hotel in an unbeatable setting. Comprised of several characterful buildings clustered around a historic cobbled street by Eton Bridge, the hotel offers a collection of individually styled bedrooms, a modern conference centre, The Brasserie restaurant and bar, and the Wren's Club spa and fitness centre. The perfect riverside location is just steps from Windsor Castle, and is popular for tourists as well as visitors for meetings and events.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reception Supervisor or Senior Receptionist who's ready to take the next step in their career.

This is a full-time, hands-on role working 40 hours per week, across any five days out of seven, including weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shifts are 7:00am – 3:30pm or 2:15pm – 10:45pm although flexibility is required.

As a key member of our Front Office team, you'll be based in the reception area, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As Head Receptionist you will ensure our guests receive consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction throughout their stay. As Head Receptionist you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Receptionist in a quality hotel of a similar size or at Head Receptionist in a smaller property.
• Self-motivation and be able to motivate others to achieve through proven man-management skills, coaching and team building.
• Strong organisational skills and be able to implement, work with and monitor systems and procedures ensuring attention to detail at all times.
• Good understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation.
• Be IT literate - Microsoft Office, Opera PMS preferred
• An excellent command of written & spoken English and numeracy.

What will I be doing as Head Receptionist?

• Supervise and motivating the team to deliver and maintaining efficient standards of service to our customers at all times.
• Ensuring company operating standards are upheld at all times
• Carrying out on job coaching and training ensuring training records are maintained.
• Helping to monitor guest feedback and take any necessary actions.
• Implementing up selling techniques and monitoring room allocations in order to maximise revenue.
• Liaising with Reservations and Housekeeping departments
• Managing and monitoring rota's to ensure staffing meets business demand
• Assisting with holiday cover for Night Audit team
• Duty Management Shifts
