Perioperative Practitioner

Perioperative Practitioner - Scrub | Solihull | 37.5 per week | Monday – Sat | Market Leading Salary |

Spire Parkway Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Perioperative Practitioner to join their busy well established theatre department on a full time permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities

• Caring for patients undergoing procedures
• Providing exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stage
• Assisting in the management and organisation of care provision within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
• Working across multi-disciplinary teams
• Assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating their care.

Who we're looking for:

• You will be a HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse with no restrictions
• At least 1 years scrub experience covering Hips/Knees/Shoulder/Spinal caseload (ideally in these areas)
• Excellent communication and organisation is key to continue our high standards of patient care.
• Flexible and positive attitude
• Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential

Various hours Monday-Saturday between 7.30am-20.00pm
