We are working with a leading private markets investment platform seeking a
qualified fund accountant
to join their Fund Finance team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for:

  • Candidates currently in
    fund administration who are looking to move into a private markets fund manager
    .
  • Candidates already within a
    fund manager
    who want to broaden their exposure across complex fund structures and strategies.

Reporting to the Fund Controller, you'll act as a central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external administrators, with a clear development path towards a future
Financial Controller
role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly and annual reporting cycles across funds, partnerships, and SPVs.
  • Liaise with fund administrators on NAVs and accounts, driving process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Assist with valuations, fund modelling, FX exposure/hedging analysis, and fund performance reviews.
  • Act as a key contact for internal teams including Capital Allocations, Portfolio Management, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Tax.
  • Manage audit queries and contribute to timely completion of year-end accounts.
  • Oversee liquidity management (pipeline monitoring, capital call assessments).
  • Maintain oversight of reporting timelines across multiple administrators and jurisdictions.
  • Prepare financial analysis and present fund performance insights to senior stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), ideally with strong audit or fund accounting training.
  • Experience in financial services — either within a
    fund administrator
    or a
    fund manager
    .
  • Exposure to real estate, private equity, private credit, real estate or infrastructure funds (Luxembourg, Jersey, Ireland structures).
  • Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with administrators, auditors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple deliverables under pressure.
