About the role

We're excited to be looking for an Assessment Associates (Writer) within our Health team on a flexible worker contract for the following qualification.

T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism supporting Therapy)

Assessment Associate - Writer 

As a Writer you'll contribute to the development of assessment materials for our Health qualifications. Your role will involve producing fit-for-purpose materials, such as question papers, assignment briefs and mark schemes. You'll apply your subject-specific knowledge to prepare draft assessment materials, which will be refined over time with input from Health Subject Matter Experts and assessment specialists.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Contributing to the production of high quality, reliable assessment content that reflects in-depth knowledge and understanding of the health sector
  • Supporting the development of assessment content that meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Solutions Officer
  • Providing additional assessment content as required, including document/image sources and details of copyright permission, as required
  • Producing exemplar materials for assessments, as required
  • Liaise with Assessment Solution Officers, Subject Chair, Chief Examiners and other Assessment Associates
  • Attending paper review panel days and training sessions, as required   

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification relating to the Health - Therapy sector, a related discipline, or proven equivalent experience
  • Experience of writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials (question papers/mark schemes/tasks) to a Level 3 standard
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a hybrid team through clear, respectful and timely communication
  • Ability and/or willingness to engage with IT systems to facilitate effective remote working
  • Able to work accurately and consistently, and at times, to tight timescales
  • Experience of working within the Health sector is desirable
