Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing educational activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering positive relationships with parents and caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment that encourages exploration and play.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are consistently met.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to build strong relationships and support children's learning journeys.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Skills

  • Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential, with a focus on early childhood education.
  • Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and effectively.
  • A genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm in all interactions.
  • Driving skills are advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities as required.
