Overview

We are looking for an experienced Director of Product Delivery & Governance to lead the design, development, and delivery of digital and non-digital products across multiple propositions. This strategic leadership role ensures products are commercially viable, scalable, and aligned with customer needs throughout their lifecycle.

You will oversee large-scale programmes, streamline capabilities, and optimize vendor relationships to deliver maximum value. The role is pivotal in driving product governance, agile delivery, and compliance across all stages of development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams to achieve customer-centric outcomes.
  • Define and implement product delivery strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Establish governance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Drive agile methodologies and continuous improvement across product teams.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and vendor performance.
  • Oversee financial planning, cost control, and ROI measurement for product delivery.
  • Integrate cybersecurity, data protection, and ethical standards into delivery processes.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in product delivery and governance, with strong knowledge of agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).
  • Expertise in budget management, vendor management, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards (AI ethics, EDI, safeguarding).
  • Advanced degree or professional certification in Project Management, Business Administration, or IT Governance (desirable).
