Minibus Driver

Are you an experienced driver seeking a fulfilling career as a mini bus driver? Are you passionate about assisting people with mobility impairments and those with learning and behavioural difficulties to travel within the Trafford/Salford districts of Greater Manchester?

As a minibus driver working for GMATL, you will drive passenger carrying minibuses providing a door to door service for people in Greater Manchester who have difficulty in using ordinary public transport.

You will be required to have knowledge of the area you will be driving in and an understanding of the requirements of the passengers who use the service.

You will be aged over 21 and have a full current driving licence including category D1 (maximum of 3 penalty points).

You will be required to work shifts 37.5 hours per week (early shifts 07.30hrs to 15.30hrs, late shifts 15.15hrs to 23.15hrs and middle shifts 08.00/09.00hrs to 16.00hrs/17.00hrs) five over seven days.

You will also receive;

· 35 days annual leave including bank holidays

· Full uniform

· Gold standard Minibus Driver Awareness Training (MIDAS)

· Membership of the Peoples Pension

· Sick pay
