Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and optimising logistics to meet business goals. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, logistics, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimise transportation management systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
  • Manage profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations, ensuring financial targets are met.

Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and 3PL operations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and AS400 for inventory management and reporting.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
