Key Account Manager, Scotland On Trade

A fast growing, ambitious spirits business is on the lookout for a Key Account Manager to join their Northern team. This is a role for someone who thrives on face time: you'll spend around 90 percent of your week out in market, nurturing existing accounts, opening new ones and bringing an exceptional artisanal portfolio to life across the region. If you want a job that lets you combine commercial sharpness with creativity and people skills, you'll feel genuinely energised here.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing 250 to 300 IFT and regional group accounts, ensuring they're supported, engaged and growing
  • Planning efficient, well structured customer journeys with 24+ visits each week
  • Driving volume, distribution, visibility and activation across your territory
  • Prospecting new business opportunities and partnering with RTMs to open fresh doors
  • Capturing customer activity and insights through CRM systems
  • Negotiating and executing trading agreements with key customers, focusing on "winning with the winners"
  • Representing a standout premium portfolio across bars, venues and groups, championing its quality and story
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing, Finance and Supply to deliver smart, joined up plans
  • Thriving in a fast paced environment with monthly and quarterly targets that keep you progressing

What you'll bring

  • Real passion for premium spirits and the confidence to champion them to customers
  • Competence with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • A self starter attitude and a love for being out in the market
