We're looking for a CAFM Manager to join our team at Kier Places.

Location: Hybrid – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working options can be discussed

What will you be responsible for?

As a CAFM Manager, you'll play a central role in driving digital transformation across our Facilities Management contracts. You'll take ownership of Kier's Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system - leading improvements, ensuring data accuracy and developing innovative solutions that enhance how we manage our assets, maintenance, and performance.

This is a pivotal role that blends technical expertise, strategic thinking and operational insight. You'll work closely with contract and operational teams, helping to shape how CAFM systems support service delivery, compliance and efficiency across our Workplace Solutions estate.

Your day to day will include:

  • Leading improvements and development of Kier's CAFM system across existing and new contracts.
  • Working with operational teams to define asset hierarchies, PPM standards, and QR code strategies.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for CAFM-related queries, troubleshooting and implementing system changes.
  • Collaborating with IT and software vendors to maintain system integrity, implement upgrades and ensure value for money.
  • Providing training, support and guidance to operational teams on the use of the CAFM system.
What are we looking for?

This role of CAFM Manager is great for you if:

  • You have prior experience developing and managing CAFM systems, ideally within PFI/PPP contracts.
  • You are highly organised with strong administration, IT, and analytical skills.
  • You hold relevant industry qualifications and have a proven track record of improving FM systems.

If a driving licence is required, it does not need to be a UK Driving Licence, just a Full Driving Licence.

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.

Rewards and benefits

We're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs. You can see more information of benefits here.

Diversity and inclusion

Making Kier a diverse and inclusive place to work is a huge priority for us. We're proud of the steps we've taken so far, but we know we must always do more. Our employees are key in shaping Kier's diversity and inclusion initiatives and our people have made a huge impact on how we work, by using their experiences to shape our policies. You can see our D&I action plan here.

As a Disability Confident employer, we will ensure that a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants that meet the minimum criteria for this role will be offered an interview.

Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to complete a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (applicants with convictions will be treated on a case-by-case basis. We do not discriminate based on an applicant's conviction history or the details of any convictions disclosed to us). Some roles may also be subject to further pre-employment checks.

We look forward to seeing your application to #joinkier
