On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Creative Designer for a 12 Month Part-Time (3 days per week, 1 in office) contract based in Derby.

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and highly creative Designer to join our Civil Marketing organisation as part of a job-share arrangement. Working within a collaborative design team of five, you will support a wide variety of marketing and brand activities across the division, as well as global initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact creative projects for one of the world's leading engineering brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Content Production:

  • Develop high-quality visual content including still imagery, film/video, animations, presentations and digital assets.
  • Design content for industry events such as trade shows and air shows, including purpose-built chalet environments, exhibition materials, and immersive brand experiences.

Marketing & Brand Support:

  • Work closely with the Civil Marketing team to deliver creative solutions that align with brand guidelines.
  • Produce engaging materials for PowerPoint presentations, websites, advertising campaigns and stakeholder communications.

Collaboration & Project Management:

  • Partner with external design agencies and third-party suppliers, providing clear briefs and managing the creative process to delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into effective design outcomes.
  • Contribute as part of a virtual team supporting cross-division and global marketing activities.

About You:

  • A strong all-round designer with the ability to create impactful visual content across multiple formats.
  • Skilled in graphic design, video creation/editing, and digital media production.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to manage projects end-to-end, from concept development to execution.
  • Experience working with design agencies or external creative partners is highly desirable.
