Job Summary:

Bolt Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice. This apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience in digital pharmacy operations, including dispensing, order management, customer care, and compliance, while supporting your journey toward becoming a qualified pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Support digital dispensing and fulfillment of prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Assist with reviewing prescription orders, checking for accuracy, drug interactions, and potential contraindications.
  • Learn to handle pharmacy management platforms, including digital patient profiles, order tracking, and secure data entry.
  • Communicate professionally with patients via phone, email, or chat to answer queries, process orders, and provide medication information and guidance.
  • Assist with inventory management, including checking of stock levels, and coordination with partner warehouses for restocking.
  • Understand and uphold data privacy and patient confidentiality, adhering to all relevant regulations and Bolt Pharmacy protocols.
  • Complete all required apprenticeship training modules and participate actively in learning and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Genuine interest in pharmacy, healthcare, and digital innovations in patient care.
  • Strong IT literacy and ability to work confidently with web-based platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Commitment to completing all apprenticeship learning and assessment activities.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), preferably including Maths, English, and Science.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £10.00 per hour
