What You'll Be Doing

As a Weekend Carer, you'll provide friendly and reliable support to older adults in their own homes throughout Bradford-on-Avon. Your role may include:

  • Assisting clients with morning routines, including washing, dressing, and preparing for the day
  • Preparing meals and ensuring they're enjoyed comfortably
  • Providing medication reminders and wellbeing checks
  • Offering companionship and conversation to brighten someone's day
  • Helping with light household tasks to promote comfort and independence

Each visit is personal and meaningful — whether it's lending a practical hand or offering a kind word over a cup of tea.

What You'll Need

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Availability to work every or alternate weekends
  • A caring, patient, and reliable nature
  • Good communication skills and fluent spoken English
  • No previous care experience required — full training is provided

What You'll Receive

  • £15.00 – £22.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Paid travel time and waiting time
  • Mileage reimbursement at £0.45 per mile
