The Asian Women's Resource Centre (AWRC) is a feminist organization whose values are founded on commitments to human rights, anti-discrimination and freedom from oppression. We endorse global evidence that violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence is gendered, a cause and consequence of the unequal position of women and girls in society, a violation of human rights, and is entirely preventable.

You will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to identify funding opportunities, cultivate relationships with supporters and partners, and help design compelling proposals and campaigns that bring AWRC's work to life.

You'll combine creativity with structure ; equally comfortable drafting proposals, analysing opportunities, and sharing stories that move people to action.

  • Proven ability to research, write, and present funding proposals to trusts, foundations, and donors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas with clarity and passion.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills ; able to balance multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM or fundraising systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to feminist, anti-racist, and intersectional principles, and to advancing the rights of Black and minoritized women.

At AWRC, you'll be part of a passionate, diverse team working towards equality and justice for women. We offer:

  • A hybrid working model (2 days in office)
  • A supportive, inclusive, and reflective work culture grounded in feminist practice
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • The chance to make a tangible difference to the lives of women and children
