ResponsibilitiesCreate code that instantiates production and test infrastructure componentsMonitor the performance of infrastructure components, addressing failures or scalability needsMaintain constant focus on infrastructure and operational securityDesign, implement, and maintain both traditional CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows.Work cross functionally with other engineers, internal and external teams to ensure rigorous infrastructure planning, timely implementation and cost efficiency.
Qualifications5+ years of experience.Experience configuring, deploying and monitoring secure production backend systems at scale comprised of the following components:Ansible- and Terraform-based automated deploymentsBare-metal and cloud computingNetworkingData Pipeline ToolsRelational, In-Memory, and Time-series DatabasesKubernetesNotification SystemsExperience with cloud infrastructure best practices around automation, identity management, and security, having created and maintained infrastructure for production grade systems.Experience building highly available, fault-tolerant systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure reliability under production workloads.Experience running chaos monkey, penetration testing, and other security best practices.Experience leading cross-functional efforts to launch products.Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills.
Bonus PointsPast experience working in high-paced startup environmentsKnowledge of EVM, DEXs, Perpetuals, and other novel DeFi primitivesProficiency in AWS, GCP, etc
