Conkers is a lively and welcoming 7 bed residential home for Young Adults who have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. We are looking for some amazing new people to join our team. Please read the full job description before applying for this role.

To meet the needs of our adults, our Support Worker teams work a variety of shift patterns and hours, however we do ask that you are able to work from 7am or until 9:30pm at night depending on your weekly rota. Rotas are issued in advance, and your 4-week rota will follow a pattern, so you can always plan ahead for your days off. Shifts are typically 7.5hrs to 12.5hrs in length, including weekends.
Day to day role of a Support Worker:
Your days at Hollybank will be as varied as the people we support, however your typical day to day role will include:

• Supporting with meals and drinks, and to help them to get excited about being involved in cooking and baking
• Helping with their personal care, including bathing and showering, so they look and feel great.
• Engaging in meaningful activities both at home and out in the community - whether that's the cinema, bowling, or abseiling.
• Building a relationship with the adults and their families, so that you can provide truly person-centred, individualised care.
• Supporting adults to access our on-site Hydrotherapy pool (don't worry, you don't need to be a strong swimmer) and Rebound trampoline - guided by qualified Physiotherapists and Lifeguard trained staff.

Experience is welcome, but not essential, as all training will be given. You
do not
need to be a driver to apply for this role.
