Supporting children aged 7–17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

Your RoleProvide high-quality, consistent care and support to children aged 7 to 17
Work closely with your team to create a nurturing, safe, and structured environment
Support young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs
Promote positive routines, independence, and emotional well-being
Be a positive role model and help young people thrive
Hours: 8am – 8pm shifts
Contract Options: 36, 40 or 48 hours per week
Sleep-ins: 8–10 per month (as per rota)
Hourly Rate: £14.50
Sleep-in Rate: £52 per night
Overtime and additional shifts available

Operates 5 to 10 homes across the North East and North West
Offers a wraparound approach with residential care, therapeutic support, supported living, and education
Holds Good Ofsted ratings across all homes, with a strong focus on achieving Outstanding

Essential Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised Level 3 qualification)
Experience working in residential childcare or a related field
Full UK driving licence
Minimum age: 21 (in line with Ofsted requirements)
Desirable:
Experience supporting children with complex emotional needs
A calm, consistent, and nurturing approach
