Job description

We are currently looking to recruit drivers for immediate start.

Taking on recently passed drivers

Very little manual work is required

We can accept ONLY PAYE.

No more than 6 points and 2-year checkable driving history is required.

Minimum of 6 months UK driving time is required.

HGV Driver Benefits

HGV Driver Requirements

  • Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E
  • Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
  • Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
  • Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver's License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
  • Approved drivers consist of drivers with background check results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.

HGV Driver Responsibilities

  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to sites
  • Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
  • Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries

  • Various shift patterns available
  • Average shift length 8 – 10 hours
