As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and experienced Construction Manager to lead our team in the construction of large-scale viaducts and bridge structures.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Manager to oversee the construction of large-scale viaducts and bridge structures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion. This is a leadership role that requires strong organisational, technical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan and manage all phases of the construction project, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to achieve project goals.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and safety.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all construction work meets industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to deliver a high-quality end product.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the construction site, adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor and address any safety issues promptly to prevent accidents.
- Team Leadership:
- Build and lead a motivated and skilled construction team.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS Certification
- NVQ Level 6 Construction Management
- Experience in construction management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale viaduct and bridge projects.
- Temporary Works Coordinator Certification
- CSCS Management Card
