About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is currently seeking a a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an office-based, non-patient facing role, ideal for those who thrive in a structured environment and are looking to contribute to the healthcare system in a supportive capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform a variety of office-based tasks with some dispensary work as required. You will support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist with office and accounting/finance duties.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
    • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
    • GCSEs in Maths and English.
    • Office and accounting/finance experience are highly desirable.
    • Hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
