Job Description
We're looking for a talented
C# Developer
to join our growing team working at the forefront of the
Electric Vehicle (EV) charging
revolution.

In this role, you'll be part of a well-established, collaborative team building a feature-rich platform that's evolving rapidly as the EV market matures. You'll contribute to the development and maintenance of a wide range of features using modern .NET technologies, helping shape the future of sustainable transport.

We're seeking someone who writes clean, reliable code, enjoys solving real-world business problems, and thrives in a global team of skilled professionals. You'll be encouraged to stay current with emerging technologies, adopt modern development practices, and actively participate in planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

This role reports to the Team Lead and offers flexibility with either full-time office-based work or a hybrid model (3 days per week in our Head Office in Crewe, North West).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing new features in a microservices-based architecture
  • Building and integrating services that consume external APIs
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing web and microservice systems
  • Creating and managing internal NuGet packages
  • Writing robust unit and integration tests
  • Participating in peer code reviews
  • Diagnosing and resolving system issues

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years' commercial experience in C# development
  • Solid understanding of .NET Core and Web API development
  • Experience working in Agile software development teams
  • Familiarity with relational databases and basic knowledge of key-value stores
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools
  • Experience using ORM technologies such as Entity Framework or Linq2DB
  • Comfortable working with .NET Core (.NET 5+)
  • Basic experience with containerisation tools like Docker
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
  • Understanding of version control using Git
  • Interest in learning about encryption and networking concepts
