ROLE OVERVIEW:

Bespoke Defenders is a Leading specialist in the Restoration of the namesake Land Rover product. We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a Vehicle Technician and become a vital part of our commitment to building the finest product.

In this role, you will be responsible for Restoring, Repairing, and Maintaining the Land Rover marque. We value proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for automotive technology. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical talents can thrive and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns
  • Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle components
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment to test electrical systems and troubleshoot faults accurately
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and repairs completed for each vehicle
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding status of various works and technical findings

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair processes
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension
  • Ability to follow technical instructions accurately and work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Valid certification or diploma in automotive technology or related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Prior experience working with land Rover Defenders is highly desirable
