Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for technical insights at the Huawei Edinburgh Research Centre, conducting regular technical research, and obtaining information on the latest technology and industry development trends through various channels, both domestically and internationally;
- Assess the potential applications and value scenarios of cutting-edge technologies, closely communicate with the institute's various business teams, participate in planning the pre-research directions for next-generation technologies, and implement feedback from the technical insights;
- Responsible for outputting insight reports, quickly compiling key technical points and value clues into report documents, and organizing internal technical sharing sessions.
Skill Requirements
- Technical Insight Ability: Maintain sensitivity to top-tier cutting-edge technologies in the industry, possess strong technical and industry insight capabilities, and be able to quickly understand, track, and summarize technology trends;
- Foundational Software Skills: Understand basic software-related concepts and architectures, with relevant technical reserves in fields such as large models, systems, databases, compilers, and languages;
- Value Identification Ability: Possess a certain level of business thinking, able to identify the potential commercial application scenarios of technologies, evaluate the value-added capability of technology for business, and provide directional support for the long-term development of technical projects;
- Written Communication Skills: Have excellent bilingual writing skills (Chinese and English), report design, and presentation skills, able to write technical insight reports in a clear, concise, and logically rigorous manner to explain complex technical concepts;
- Communication and Collaboration Skills: Be able to closely collaborate with technical experts and business teams, understand business needs from a technical perspective, and have strong feedback reception abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in computer science, engineering, or management is preferred;
- Candidates with experience in technical projects or project development are preferred;
- Familiarity with Office software is preferred.
