Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security staff to ensure comprehensive coverage of all security zones
  • Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and ensure safety compliance
  • Implement loss prevention strategies by analysing risk factors and developing preventative measures
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or alarms, providing appropriate action and documentation
  • Oversee access control procedures, including visitor management and identification verification
  • Facilitate training sessions for security personnel on emergency procedures, first aid, and surveillance operations
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and ensure all security protocols are adhered to

Skills

  • Proven experience in surveillance techniques and CCTV system management
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and risk assessment methods
  • First aid certification with the ability to respond effectively during emergencies
  • Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to supervise a team efficiently
  • Good communication skills for liaising with staff, emergency services, and management
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while making quick decisions
  • Vigilant attention to detail with a proactive approach to security challenges

Requirments:

  • Must have two checkable supervisor references
  • Prefered experience in Commerical or gate house security.
  • Has experience supervising or have teram leading skills and knowledge.
  • SIA license and other needed and necessary tickets and cards.
