Scheduler – Cheltenham – Permanent (37.5 hours per week) – £27,000 per annum – SC Clearance or willing to undergo

Our client support the government in a number of areas, including training and consultancy.

They are looking for an individual to help manage and coordinate training programmes in Cheltenham. You must be an organised individual who hold great communication skills to liaise with different members in the department.

While your security clearance is being processed, you'll need to be able to work from home until it's fully approved.

Working Patterns: This role is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the office in Cheltenham.

The Key Responsibilities of a Scheduler:

  • Creating schedules for students and coordinate trainers.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to fulfil client programmes.
  • Manage day to day schedule of public courses.
  • Identify gaps in training capabilities.
  • Updating internal systems, calendars and platforms to ensure all trainers are updated.
  • Handling schedule queries from internal teams.
  • Working closely with the team to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Adhoc administrative responsibilities.

Below is a list of Key Skills required for the Scheduler , however you will not be expected to have everything:

  • Experience working in a Defence/Government or events management or similar
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior administrative experience in a similar role is preferred.
