Evening Care Assistant - Home Care | Mirfield | Drivers Only

16:30 - 22:00 (with a dinner break) - 4x evenings per week

and full availability (07:00 - 22:00) on a Sunday

Job Description:

Flexicare At Home are looking for a compassionate Evening Female Care Assistant in Wakefield. No experience required - full training provided.

Key Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Caring and empathetic personality
  • Eligibility to work in UK (no sponsorship/visa support available)

We offer a flexible schedule that includes at least two consistent days off each week. As part of our commitment to providing excellent service, all of our evening carers contribute one weekend evening shift. This approach allows us to maintain work-life balance while ensuring we're available when our service users need us most.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care assistance (washing, bathing, toileting, dressing)
  • Nutrition and hydration support
  • Medication management
  • Domestic duties (cooking, cleaning)
  • Companionship and communications

  • Contact rate of £13.10 per hour ( including £0.50 performance-related bonus, normally paid)
