Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a 4-day per week basis (38 hours a week). As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work with a team maintaining high standards of care and education for all children. Hours are 8am to 6pm four set days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the nursery's ethos and policies.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences to promote learning and development across all areas.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for children, adhering to all health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers, fostering open communication and collaboration in their child's learning journey.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Qualifications from outside the UK must be verified by NARIC
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding best practices in early childhood education.
