Complex Care Provision: Meeting the diverse and often challenging needs of individuals with complex care requirements, spanning both physical and mental health.
Specialist Staffing: Supplying highly skilled nurses and carers across primary, secondary, and tertiary care settings.
The Role
As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational performance, and P&L accountability of the business. Drawing on the existing leadership team's wealth of industry insight, you will ensure seamless and compliant interactions for both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Set and execute the overall strategy, ensuring continued leadership in the specialist complex care and staffing market.
Oversee all operational departments, including recruitment, compliance, finance, and client management, ensuring best-in-class service delivery and operational efficiency.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, including senior stakeholders within NHS Trusts and Local Authorities.
Ensure rigorous compliance and quality standards are maintained across all service lines, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting vulnerable service users.
Drive commercial growth, identifying new market opportunities in specialist care sectors and expanding the national footprint.
Develop and nurture a high-performing culture that embodies the company's ethos of compassion, reliability, and professionalism.
The Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a proven executive leader, likely operating at Director or MD level within the specialist healthcare, care provider, or high-volume healthcare staffing sectors.
Extensive senior leadership experience (5+ years) in the healthcare or specialist recruitment industry.
Proven track record of managing P&L and delivering significant commercial growth within a highly regulated environment.
Deep understanding of the complex care landscape, particularly in relation to learning disabilities, mental health, and challenging behaviour support.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience negotiating and partnering with major public and private sector healthcare organisations (e.g., NHS, Local Authorities).
A decisive, authentic, and results-oriented leadership style with a genuine passion for high-quality, person-centered care.
