Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced carpenter / finishing joiner to join our team on a high-quality commercial office fit-out project in St Peter Port, Guernsey. Work includes installation of joinery finishes, acoustic panels, doors, and general second-fix carpentry.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate. Local and UK based applicants are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Install kitchens, skirtings, architraves, and doors
- Fit acoustic wall panelling and trims to drawings/specifications
- Carry out finishing carpentry to a high standard (including mitred detailing and scribing)
- Assist with general joinery and finishing elements within the fit-out
- Coordinate with site management to meet quality and programme requirements
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient work area
- Maintain a professional, collaborative and positive approach and attitude at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a finishing carpenter / joiner on commercial projects
- Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications
- Own tools and PPE
- CSCS card (Skilled Worker or equivalent)
- Driving licence preferred
- Able to work independently and to a professional standard
Compliance / Working in Guernsey
- Must be eligible to work on Guernsey projects; we'll support any permit/admin required for the engagement.
Travel & Accommodation
For UK candidates:
- Travel: We cover one return trip to/from Guernsey at project start and end
- Ongoing travel & accommodation is to be arranged by the applicant. We can recommend local options.
Contract length
- Approx. 4–6 weeks, with potential for ongoing work
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks
Pay: Up to £35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
