About the Mechanical Engineer position

We're looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with 0–2 years' experience to join a fast-paced, collaborative team working on cutting-edge technologies. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in every stage of the product lifecycle – from research and development to design, manufacturing, installation, and testing. This role is for an immediate start in January / February 2026.

You'll need to be interested in tackling multi-disciplinary challenges, working alongside experts in fields such as engineering, physics, and software. This role is ideal for someone who's excited to collaborate across domains and contribute to innovative engineering projects that push boundaries.

Mechanical Engineer responsibilities are:

  • Design and prototyping of new components
  • Engineering analysis
  • Testing and evaluation of components
  • Managing small mechanical engineering projects
  • Creating product reports and documentation

Essential requirements are:

BEng or BSc in a relevant Engineering or Science Discipline

Desirable requirements are:

  • Prior work, summer or industrial placement experience working as Mechanical Engineer or other relevant position
  • Experience within university degree of finite element analysis (FEA) and/or computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Excellent knowledge of core concepts and principles of mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc
  • Experience within degree of 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., Solidworks, Catia, Inventor)
  • Experience within degree of mathematical computing and analysis tools, including python
