The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional law firm for an experienced 'Private Client Lawyer' to join their newly expanded office in West Dorset. This is a fantastic chance to operate in a supportive, forward-thinking environment where your expertise will be valued and your professional development encouraged.
As part of a private client team that spans from apprentices and trainees to highly seasoned senior lawyers, you'll work alongside legal secretaries and paralegals who play a vital role in the firm's collaborative culture. The team places a strong emphasis on knowledge-sharing and delivering exceptional service to clients.

What You'll Do
• Manage a broad caseload of private client matters with confidence and technical proficiency.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients.
• Contribute to business development and the strategic planning of the department.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to share best practices.
• Work independently while also providing mentorship and support to junior members of the team.

What We're Looking For
• At least 5 years' PQE in private client law.
• Deep technical knowledge across a wide range of private client issues.
• Proactive, client-focused mindset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
• A genuine interest in business development and collaborative working.
