We are looking for a highly motivated Imaging Biomarker Scientist to join our Translational Science team. This role sits at the intersection of medical imaging, data science and biomedical research and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on data handling, scientific interpretation and contributing to high-quality clinical evidence.

It's an excellent opportunity for someone with strong coding, biomedical statistics, and bioinformatics experience who wants to grow within a multidisciplinary translational research environment

About the Role

You will work with clinical datasets from our research collaborations, apply advanced medical statistics, and help evaluate the performance of our imaging metrics as biomarkers across a range of disease areas. Day to day duties include:

  • Performing data analyses on clinical data acquired with Perspectum's core technologies.
  • Contributing to, and authoring, scientific publications including abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
  • Providing analysis and statistical support for regulatory submissions and clinical science publications
  • Analysing and interpreting data, and reporting findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with our Data Science, Medical Affairs and wider Translational Science team

About You

We are looking for an individual who excels in a collaborative environment, has excellent communication and adapts well to changing priorities.

You will be able to demonstrate your:

  • Strong coding experience in Python or R
  • Experience handling biomedical, bioinformatic or imaging datasets.
  • Good understanding of statistical and research methods relevant to clinical or biomedical research.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and communicate findings clearly.

A PhD in a related discipline (eg Biomedical Science, Biostatistics or similar) would be highly beneficial, however we would also welcome applications from those with a Masters in a similar field.

Any experience in the following would also be advantageous however is not essential:

  • Experience with medical imaging data or imaging biomarkers.
  • Prior authorship or contribution to peer-reviewed publications.
  • Experience writing conference abstracts or contributing to scientific dissemination.
  • Familiarity with clinical research in areas such as liver disease, metabolic disease, oncology, or inflammatory conditions.
