Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Building Surveyor. The Building Surveyor will be responsible for inspecting properties, preparing reports, and carrying out maintenance and refurbishment works. The role involves assessing the condition of buildings, identifying defects and necessary repairs, and ensuring compliance with building regulations and legislation. Responsibilities also include liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality service. This role is located in Northfleet but offers some flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications
- Experience in property inspections and report preparation
- Knowledge of building regulations, legislation, and codes of practice
- Skills in defect identification and assessment
- Proficiency in managing maintenance, refurbishment, and new build projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Competence in using surveying tools and software
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work model
- Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or related field
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is advantageous
