We have a fantastic opportunity for a Security Systems Engineer working in and around the Midlands. An ideal candidate should have previous industry experience specifically with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems. This full-time position would be ideal for an enthusiastic engineer with excellent customer facing skills, looking to develop their career in a technology-driven company. You will be expected to attend the Northampton and Burton office on occasions.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Security Systems Manager, your role will involve visiting commercial and construction sites across the UK, installing and servicing CCTV, Alarms and Access Control Systems and will involve working outdoors.

You need to be able to manage yourself whilst on site. A good understanding of technology is a given, as well as good organisational and communication skills.

Training will be provided in the systems we supply.

Expected Hours per week:

You will be working Monday to Friday daytime shifts. You will have a varied workload in a fast paced environment.

Experience:

  • You must have experience in CCTV, Access Control, Electronics, or Electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of various Security Access systems such as Paxton and IEvo.
  • Experience installing and maintaining Network and Analogue CCTV Systems.
  • Experience with Fire systems, Traffic Barriers and Turnstiles an advantage
  • Experience working on construction sites and/or CSCS qualification advantageous
  • The ability to work at height and use ladders is essential, with a solid understanding of health and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Full UK Driving License
  • Working at heights, MEWPS, cherry-picker, IPAF or PASMA also advantageous.

All equipment will be supplied along with a company vehicle, fuel card as well as a company phone.
