Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of consumable products in a fast-paced cosmetics environment. Duties

  • Operate and monitor food production equipment, ensuring smooth and continuous operation
  • Follow strict HACCP protocols to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Operate filling and bottling machinery
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure product standards are met
  • Assist with the setup, changeover, and cleaning of machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and any deviations from standard procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organised work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic mechanical knowledge to minimise downtime
  • Perform basic maths calculations related to measurements, weights, and batch sizes during production processes

Skills

  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations
  • Experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
