The Role

As a Performance Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing high-performance and sports vehicles to the highest standards. You'll work with advanced diagnostic equipment and cutting-edge technology, ensuring every vehicle performs at its peak.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on performance vehicles
  • Accurately inspect vehicles and complete all documentation to a professional standard
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance
  • Communicate technical findings clearly with service advisors and customers
  • Maintain workshop standards, ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times
  • Support and mentor junior technicians as part of team development
  • Stay current with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer updates

Requirements

  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician (sports or performance car experience preferred)
  • Proven diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems
  • Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
  • MOT Tester certification (beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional, methodical approach
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A genuine passion for performance vehicles and top-quality workmanship
