This is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to thrive, working within a successful and vibrant team. Working within industries such as Nuclear, Rail, Defence, Chemical Treatments, Storage Vessels and Pressure Vessels, you will be dealing with a multitude of customers ranging from individual traders & SME's, right up to nationally recognised blue chip companies.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily an estimating position responding to live enquiries
  • Reviewing enquiries and liaising directly with customers
  • Producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from customer drawings
  • Inputting all information on to the computer system in order to produce full quotations
  • Gaining feedback/winning orders post quotation submission
  • Building relationships with customer to get repeat enquiries

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Interested in Engineering & Sales
  • Have 5+ GCSE's or equivalent
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with both suppliers and customers
  • Fully computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office

Working Location/Environment

Darwen, Lancashire

Working Hours

Week 1 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday

Week 2 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 1pm Friday
