A UK manufacturer of housewares is looking to target retail accounts in France, Germany, Spain and the Benelux region. This is a remote working role with international travel.

THE COMPANY

A well-established UK housewares manufacturer known for their innovative and high-quality products. They're stocked by some of the biggest retailers, garden centre chains, and supermarkets. They're expanding their sales team and are looking to hire an International Sales Manager to target new business with large retailers in France, Germany, Spain and the Benelux region as part of their wider international presence. The business has a good support system in place with compliance and export teams in-house and a direct report to manage your sales admin and order processing. Representing this manufacturer you will have the market advantage of being able to react quickly to customer requirements – scaling up production at short notice, delivering on tight deadlines, and adapting production to bespoke requests.

THE ROLE

  • Drive international sales growth. Identify new sales leads, pitch products, and build relationships with retailers in France, Germany, Spain and the Benelux.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Create and implement tailored sales strategies for each country.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure agreements with key customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to adapt ranges for local markets.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the brand, the products, and generate new business.
  • Prepare and present reports providing insight on sales, markets, and trends.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrable experience in international sales working with large retailers in Europe. You could be working as a Country Manager, Territory Manager, Regional Sales Manager, International Account Manager, Export Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Head of International Sales, Sales Director, or similar. The business is open on product experience within Housewares, DIY, Kitchenware, Garden, DIY, or other hardline consumer products. This is a remote working role but you must be based in either the UK or Europe.

Generous travel and expense allowance plus international travel to customer meetings and trade shows. You will be paid a generous base salary plus car allowance, performance-related bonuses, private medical, an enhanced pension and other benefits.
