Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Football Manager to lead our team at Guildford Football Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of team performance, strategy, and player development. This role requires a deep understanding of the game, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate players to achieve their full potential. The Football Manager will work closely with coaching staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure the club's objectives are met both on and off the pitch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective training programmes to enhance player skills and team performance.

  • Analyse match performances and devise strategies for improvement.

  • Scout and recruit new players, while also managing player contracts and transfers.

  • Foster a positive team culture and maintain strong relationships with players to encourage teamwork and morale.

  • Collaborate with coaching staff to prepare for matches, including tactical planning and set-piece strategies.

  • Monitor player fitness levels and work alongside medical staff to ensure the health and well-being of all team members.

  • Represent the club in media engagements, press conferences, and community events as required.

  • Set clear performance goals for the team and individual players, regularly assessing progress towards these objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with all league regulations and club policies while promoting fair play at all times.
