Location: Crawley (Hybrid after probation)
Salary: £30k -£35k + commission + annual Bonus
About the Role:
As a Business Development Executive, you'll be the first point of contact for potential clients—representing the brand with professionalism and energy. You'll focus on developing new business, reactivating lapsed accounts, and supporting the wider sales team through consistent, customer-focused communication.
This is an office based role with regular UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays as and when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work through warm marketing and sales leads to identify opportunities
- Engage with potential customers to understand needs, provide product info, send quotes, and arrange follow-ups
- Build new relationships with industry-relevant businesses
- Reconnect with former clients to reintroduce solutions and uncover new needs
- Use a consultative sales approach to rebuild relationships and generate renewed interest
- Assist with inbound sales calls, emails, and general enquiries
- Attend trade shows, customer open days, and industry networking events
- Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to maintain a consistent voice and message
- Leverage ongoing campaigns to support outreach and customer engagement
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Lead Generation role
- Ideally from a technical, construction, or manufacturing background
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence building relationships
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Willingness to travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays
- Comfortable tracking activity, managing pipelines, and reporting to leadership
