About the Role
As a Design Engineer, you will contribute to the end-to-end design and development of engine components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, durability, quality, cost, and serviceability requirements. You'll work closely with global teams, suppliers, and on-site engineers to deliver high-quality design outputs and support project milestones.
This is a backfill role with immediate impact, joining a collaborative engineering office of around 30–40 team members.
What You'll Be Working On
- Designing and developing engine components and systems for timely production release
- Creating and refining 3D models using Creo
- Leading and supporting DFMEA and DVP&R activities
- Supporting prototype build, testing and analysis
- Conducting materials research and competitive benchmarking
- Working with suppliers on development and performance improvements
- Ensuring high-quality, defect-free design releases
- Preparing technical presentations and documentation
What You'll Need
Essential experience:
- Spark-ignited or diesel engine design
- Product development experience
- Extensive Creo knowledge
- Ability to carry out simple simulation work
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving capability
