Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Garden Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and gardening, with hands-on experience in landscape maintenance. This role involves working with various hand and power tools, as well as irrigation systems, to maintain and enhance our garden spaces. Duties

  • Operate hand tools and power tools for various gardening tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Participate in landscape maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
  • Monitor plant health and provide necessary care to ensure optimal growth conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement garden layouts that meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
  • Provide support in the propagation of plants and assist with growing operations as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
  • Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices and techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable.
  • A background in growing plants or managing garden spaces will be beneficial for this role.
