Crawley College is proud to be one of the region's most vibrant and diverse further education institutions. With a strong commitment to vocational learning, apprenticeships, and adult education up to degree level, we provide an environment where learners can grow-not just academically, but personally and professionally.

We are now seeking a Lead Assessor/Verifier in Electrical Installation to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about developing talent and supporting the next generation of electricians.

Why This Role Matters

As a Lead Assessor/Verifier, you'll be at the heart of the apprenticeship journey. Your role will ensure that learners receive a high-quality experience, combining classroom knowledge with real-world application. You'll work closely with local employers, building strong partnerships that enhance workplace learning and lead to successful outcomes for apprentices.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver and assess vocational training in Electrical Installation.
  • Guide apprentices to achieve timely and successful completion of their programmes.
  • Collaborate with employers to monitor progress and align workplace learning with curriculum goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes.
  • Champion equality, diversity, health and safety, and safeguarding in every aspect of your work.

What We're Looking For

  • Industry-recognised qualifications in Electrical Installation.
  • Proven experience in vocational assessment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to travel between college and employer sites.

Experience in further education and knowledge of apprenticeship standards are desirable, but not essential. Most importantly, we're looking for someone committed to helping learners succeed.

Why Join Us?

At Crawley College, you'll be supported by a collaborative team and have access to professional development opportunities to grow your career. This is your chance to make a real impact-shaping the future of skilled professionals in the electrical sector.
