The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for implementing and reviewing the manufacturing processes to ensure high efficiency, quality, and safety standards. This role involves working closely with various departments to develop new processes, improve existing ones, and resolve any manufacturing issues.

Reporting to the senior engineer and the engineering manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop efficient manufacturing processes.

Create detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.

Utilise Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.

Develop and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure product standards.

Work closely with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.

Implement statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement tools.

Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Schedule regular maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment.

Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.

Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.

Collect and analyse manufacturing data to drive decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
